Just been watching Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark...

Hope you enjoy Edinburgh. I remember the Festival from 10 years ago when I broke their microphone reading out the curse from "The Great Pyramid Robbery"... not been asked back since!Katherine Robertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17196712319655603442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-14553033659165750722012-08-18T09:45:18.306+01:002012-08-18T09:45:18.306+01:00I would have wanted to read that book too! I've read a couple of your novels and never noticed anything jarring. :-)Sue Bursztynskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09362273418897882971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-26833123738437380492012-08-18T07:37:30.731+01:002012-08-18T07:37:30.731+01:00I'm with you Celia. I suspect it lessens the likelihood of a story sinking under the weight of information.Laurienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-75697662376041770822012-08-18T01:40:18.866+01:002012-08-18T01:40:18.866+01:00There's something wonderful about going off on...There's something wonderful about going off on a tangent while doing research. It happens to me all the time. You are looking something up, find something else and say,"ooh, that looks interesting!" and follow the link if on the Net or borrow the book if in the library. And then THAT has something to follow and so it goes... I think you and I would be very popular at trivia quiz nights.;-) The book you mention sounds fascinating. I'm sure it will come in handy sooner or later for a novel.Sue Bursztynskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09362273418897882971noreply@blogger.com
