We have a restaurant where people can eat lying on the triclinium. The recipes are from Apicio, Columela, Paladio, etc. We use terra sigilata crokery and dress our costumers with tunic, stola or toga.
You can visit us in: www.aqualibera.com
Regards
NoemíAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06487941394591406454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-67243190868423281022017-01-17T18:18:29.848+00:002017-01-17T18:18:29.848+00:00Good post.Good post.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-32403536992313255712016-10-11T10:02:01.777+01:002016-10-11T10:02:01.777+01:00The first Roman restaurant looked fun - could you ...The first Roman restaurant looked fun - could you order the potion that made you throw up so you could start again...?Katherine Robertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17196712319655603442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-78859837574633325762016-10-09T19:48:36.405+01:002016-10-09T19:48:36.405+01:00If I ever open a restaurant something has gone ter...If I ever open a restaurant something has gone terribly wrong! ;-) But seriously, they are a huge investment of time and money! What a shame it closed! Really, ancient Roman food eaten by ordinary people would have been fairly recognisable, wouldn't it? And as for Greek food... I have some recipes from a Classical recipe book and there is one pancake recipe which my Greek library tech talks me they still make; she certainly does.
