One of the marvellous things about that place, apart from the stunning views and the atmosphere was the constant stream of contemporary poets visiting to read. Whenever I smell coal smoke I'm shuttled straight back there... and today - thanks!Jane Borodalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04869783602793206715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-77772090278397528102012-05-19T09:31:15.695+01:002012-05-19T09:31:15.695+01:00What a wonderfully evocative description. 'she gave me eyes. She gave me ears.' Having just read your post it was a marvelous coming together for me. For those who enjoy reading authors real notebooks, it's a magnificent feast. The last time I went it was very, very wet (my dad was in tow and refused to get out of the car!) so it was just me and two charming Japanese girls, and it was, simply, magical.Lindahttp://islandmomma.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-48331211594039567342012-05-18T21:11:36.389+01:002012-05-18T21:11:36.389+01:00I have absolutely loved reading both your posts Ce...I have absolutely loved reading both your posts Celia!
