I still visit the Village regularly as I still have family living in Weobley. There has been members of my family living in Weobley continually for 64 years now. I remember a schoolmaster who was our neighbour for many years teaching me a poem about Weobley which started with the lines:- “Old Weobley lies neath Ladylift and dreams the years away”. Unfortunately I can’t remember the whole of the poem, can you help please ??Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13194441509274882281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-72014596877357816542016-09-30T12:41:47.027+01:002016-09-30T12:41:47.027+01:00It's a lovely place - what a pity you didn'...It's a lovely place - what a pity you didn't buy the house, Roz - if you're there again, have a meal at the Salutation. Never been in the church - always some event going on...so I am particularly pleased to see your photographs of the monuments there and your very interesting description of the whole town. Thank you so much, Ann!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5502671101756463249.post-86476185020452003932016-09-21T12:26:18.864+01:002016-09-21T12:26:18.864+01:00Very interesting post, Ann; not a part of the worl...Very interesting post, Ann; not a part of the world I know well at all.Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07031215564445403747noreply@blogger.com
