If I became an animal, it would have to be a dog to communicate with my furry friend Dylan. He tries very hard to speak but it doesn't really work. I nearly picked Mona Lisa for my 'meet an artist's model' but think Jane Avril from the Moulin Rouge posters might have a more interesting tale to tell!
Which model for which work of art would you most like to meet and why? (excluding David!)
I'd like to meet the Girl with a pearl earring, it is one of my favourite portraits yet we really know nothing about her. I'd like to know who she is, about her life and time and how she came to sit for Vermeer.
Hmm, don't know if too late, but I would be a leopard. All that grace, beauty and power, and apparently they are more numerous than all the other big cats combined, so pretty successful too!

ReplyDeleteI would love to be a Dolphin because theiy are excellent swimmers and they have so much fun in the water.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to be a wolf - they're fast, strong, and still playful even as adults. Lovely!

Probably 'The thinker statue' by Auguste Rodin because I would really like to know what he WAS thinking.
